BIOGRAPHY
Jennifer A. Carlson graduated first in her law school class receiving outstanding achievement awards in trusts & estates, property, and commercial law. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal and has been inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Ms. Carlson previously served with the Illinois Appellate Court and has experience in telecommunications, energy, and contract law. She also has experience in federal income taxation, is a published author, and is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
Ms. Carlson is a dedicated volunteer and public speaker. She has served nonprofit organizations throughout the Council Bluffs and Omaha metro area for more than 25 years. Her family has been recognized for its commitment to community by Heartland Family Services and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Ms. Carlson was born in eastern Iowa and has called Council Bluffs home since 1992.
