Mr. Thorn was born in LuVerne, Iowa, in 1935, and since being admitted to practice in Iowa has been active in several legal and community organizations.
Mr. Thorn maintains his membership in the Pottawattamie County (President, 1990), Southwest Iowa, Iowa State and American Bar Associations; the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers (President, 1991), and Iowa Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee (President, 1997).
